Act 22: Does it benefit Puerto Rico?

A considerable number of people are coming from the states to live in Puerto Rico under the known Act 22, which provides a total exemption of taxes for those who become residents. There’s been a claim of locals saying that these investors are taking away from Puerto Ricans. We talked to the president of the Society Act 20-22, Rob Rill, & to the General coordinator for the Citizens Victory party, Manuel Natal, who back in 2017 presented the proposed bill 840 in the House to repeal this Act.
