Governor Pierluisi deployed National Guard to Vieques after gas shortage controversy

Vieques has been suffering from a lack of attention, supplies & health resources for years. The penny dropped once again this past week when the municipality suffered from a gas shortage. Because of this, Pedro Pierluisi declared a state of emergency in which he deployed the National Guard in order for all the necessary supplies to be taken to the municipality.
